CHAKWAL: Around 1000 people have reportedly besieged an Ahmedi
place of worship in Chakwal.
According to details, the
place of worship is located in the boundaries of Chowas Saidan Sha
h police station area in Chakwal’s Dhalmial district.
Jammat-i-Ahmaddiya Pakistan Spokesperson Saleem ud Din said, “Nearly 1,000 persons have attacked our Baitulzikar in Dha
lmial.”
The spokesperson further added that the police and law enforcement agencies have failed to handle the s
ituation and the mob is constantly
firing and throwing stones on their
place of worship.
On the other hand, the government authorities say that it is carefully looking at the situtation of Chakwal incident and the local administration, police are handling the s
ituation.
